It has been a year since the debut of \u201cTraxComm Dashboard<\/b>\u201d via our Customer Communication Email last March. Over the past 12 months, encouraging growth figures have been recorded across key parameters on our dashboard.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Total Cable Length \u2013 11% increase, from 458 km in 2020 to 508 km in 2021<\/strong><\/p>

  • We are committed to meeting our customers\u2019 needs through expanding our network reach, including newly launched data centres in different locations.<\/li><\/ul>

    Service Availability \u2013 Above industry average 99.9992% over the past 12 months<\/strong><\/p>

    • We have successfully maintained a consistently high standard of service availability over the 12 months.<\/li>
    • Fibre route diversity is regularly reviewed and updated to ensure fastest restoration time in case of outage.<\/li><\/ul>

      Subscribed Bandwidth \u2013 Unprecedented 60% increase, from 3.5 Tbps in 2020 to 5.6 Tbps in 2021<\/strong><\/p>

      • Skyrocketing internet traffic for online meetings, e-commerce, etc. has led to increased bandwidth demand in 2020. Our top priority is to increase our total network capacity in meeting the surging demand.<\/li><\/ul>

        In addition, we have extended our network coverage to the newly established Data Technology Hub (DT Hub) in Tseung Kwan O last year. Extra connectivity is now provided for the DT Hub to support the local R&D activities and the Innovation & Technology (I&T) ecosystem, enabling Hong Kong to evolve into a digital economy.<\/p>
